So, most businesses are forgetting about Reddit right now. And Reddit is one of the best ways to get cited on AI. How to get cited on AI is really kind of simple. You either go on there and you start answering questions. So you go to your local business, or if you're a plumber, you just type in plumbing issues and you start seeing all the plumbing issues. Just go in there and start replying.
One of the things I like to tell people, like my customers, is if you have a Reddit account, make your Reddit account name your business name. So if you're ABC Plumbing, just name your Reddit account ABC Plumbing New York, or whatever it is, as much as the character limit allows. But the key is, name it that, put it on there, and you're not really necessarily pitching your services, but you're building equity, social equity.
And then you can slowly name drop it in there, slowly, in your posts, or I should say, in your comments. That's the easiest way to get started. You don't have to have any technical skill. It's very easy. You're helping. It's what you would normally do anyway when you're explaining a problem to somebody. Reddit just loves that.
And then the next step would be leaving posts, or getting your customers to leave a post. Be like, "Hey, do you happen to comment on Reddit? Instead of a review, would you go on Reddit and talk about your services? Talk about what my experience was here." That type of thing could be really huge for a business.
