Watch: How One Reddit Answer Feeds Your Other Channels and AI Search

In this short, Joshua Albanese, founder of Spearleaf, explains how a local business can use Reddit to show up in AI search: start a profile under your business name, answer questions in the subreddits your customers use, and share those answers on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and your website, so one piece of content feeds the rest. That loop builds the trust signals behind AI search optimization.

So, if you're a local business owner, you're probably wondering, hey, how can I get more business? Well, there's always the standard stuff, Google Maps and SEO, but really the big gold mine right now is AI search. And I'm going to show you exactly how to do that.

So, with AI search, the biggest thing that it looks for is community forums. It's you going out there as the business owner, exercising your expertise. One of the places that I really like to see expertise is Reddit. Reddit is one of the best platforms.

One of the things that you're going to want to do is start a profile, but with the name of your business. That's going to be huge. So name it your business, and that way it's like free SEO: everywhere you go, people are going to be able to see that.

Then you're going to go into what are called subreddits. These subreddits are essentially specialized community forums, such as if you're a med spa, or if you're in Tampa, Florida, it's Tampa, Florida. Go into those ones and start answering questions and just being of help. That's really one of the bigger things that you can do.

This is a good start, because everything that you do there, you can actually share on your other social media profiles, because you're answering other people's problems. You get it? So when you start here, it starts to drip out into Instagram, it starts to go to Facebook, it starts to go to YouTube. So when you build the system here, it goes into all the other ones. And it goes to your website. So when you post on there, you can also talk about what you're learning.

This is going to build the loop. You're going to have a loop here, where essentially every time you're working, one piece of content will feed all the other ones, and that's going to create a massive wave of trust signals for all the AI search engines, because they're going to see healthy activity on your business, and they're basically going to start recommending you.
