Adam's Pool and Spa Service was the best-kept secret in Long Beach
Adam's had a loyal client base built over 15 years of cleaning, repairing, and resurfacing pools for homes, HOAs, and commercial properties. Search didn't reflect any of it.
In its first full month of Search Console data the site earned 27 clicks from 1,833 impressions, at an average position of 26.6. That's page three. Buyers searching for pool service in Long Beach were finding someone else.
The business name also appeared seven different ways across the site. Google and AI assistants read that as seven slightly different businesses, which splits the authority a single brand should have.
Spearleaf rebuilt the site and every signal around it
- 1
A page for every search
We built a 162-page site where each service and each city has its own page, matched to how people actually search. Cleaning, repair, resurfacing, and commercial work each get their own answer.
- 2
One brand, everywhere
We standardized the business name across 138 files and 774 mentions, so Google and AI assistants see one consistent company.
- 3
Headings and internal links
We rewrote 87 headings to carry the search terms that matter and rebuilt the services menu, adding 164 internal links to the pages that needed authority most.
- 4
A redesign that converts
In August 2026 we relaunched the site with an image-led design and a dedicated thank-you page, so every booking and call is counted in Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- 5
Authority off the site
A steady run of press releases syndicated to news sites, then checked for which copies Google actually indexed, to build the off-site trust search engines and AI lean on.
A site that looks like the premium operator Adam's already was
Dark and image-led. Every page leads with the service, the area, and a one-tap way to call or book.

Adam's Pool and Spa Service now shows up for 1,895 different searches a month
In the last 28 days the site appeared for 1,895 distinct searches, up from 451 six months earlier. Monthly impressions rose every quarter, from 1,833 in October 2025 to 36,820 in September 2026.
Clicks peaked at 196 in July 2026. They eased in August and September as the site began ranking for thousands of broader searches at lower positions, which pulls the average down while impressions keep climbing. Page-one coverage is the lead indicator, and it nearly tripled.

ChatGPT now recommends Adam's Pool and Spa Service in 11 of 16 buyer chats
We asked ChatGPT the same 16 questions a Long Beach homeowner asks, on August 17 and again on October 2, 2026. In August, Adam's was missing from five of the answers and ChatGPT steered the buyer to a competitor five times.
On October 2, Adam's appeared in every answer. When the buyer followed up with "Who would you recommend and why?", ChatGPT picked Adam's in 11 of 16 chats. ChatGPT has also sent 57 visits to the site over the past year, per Google Analytics.
Asked: “who is the best pool cleaning service in Long Beach”
If you mean Long Beach, California, my top pick right now is Top Rated Pool Care.
Based on what I can verify right now, I’d personally start with Adam's Pool and Spa Service.

Method: real ChatGPT (Go plan) on a dedicated account with memory off, one answer per question on each date, the same 16 questions both times. Two reviewers read every answer in full and agreed on 41 of 43; the other two were settled by hand. The October run added the follow-up "Who would you recommend and why?" in the same chat, which August did not ask, so the 11 of 16 figure has no direct August equivalent. ChatGPT's answers vary from day to day.
